What is samovar?
A samovar – is a metal container traditionally used to heat and boil water in Russia. The samovar is well known outside of Russia and has spread through Russian culture to Eastern Europe, South-Eastern Europe, Iran, Afghanistan, the Kashmir region of India, the Middle East, Azerbaijan and is also known in some parts of Central Europe. Since the heated water is typically used to make tea, many samovars have a ring-shaped attachment around the chimney to hold and heat a teapot filled with tea concentrate. Though traditionally heated with coal or kindling, many newer samovars use electricity to heat water in a manner similar to an electric water boiler.
How to choose Samovar?
First of all, you need to decide how you are going to use it – only outdoors, only indoors or both. Then you can look at the capacity, shape, décor and accessories.
When you use samovar outdoors you can choose firewood samovar from the catalogue. Each samovar is equipped with a pipe of the samovar's color.
When you use samovar indoors you can choose electric samovar from the catalogue, there are samovars of different shapes, with classic colors or with art paint. You can order any samovar with a voltage of 110 or 220 Volts. Every samovar is protected with emergency-off after water starts boiling.
There are combined samovars, which are fueled both by wood and by electricity. You can also put together a tea suite by adding accessories to the order.
